Draw Near to God and He'll Draw Near to You!

Hey Reader,

Tomorrow is going to be a special one for us as we get back to our The Road to Promise sermon series. After taking a break from our journey through Exodus, we're picking back up in Exodus 9:1-35 with a message called “When All Hail Breaks Loose.” And yes...you read that right! 😂

As Pharaoh continues to resist God, the consequences become more severe. And there's a lesson in that for all of us: rejecting God's authority doesn't remove it, it only increases the consequences of resisting it. The longer we resist what God is saying, the more destructive our resistance can become.

Sometimes the most loving thing God can do is disrupt our lives enough to get our attention and remind us that He is God and we are not.

This Sunday is also significant because it will be our LAST Sunday worshiping at 11:00 AM! On September 13th, we begin an exciting new chapter as our Sunday worship experience moves to 10:00 AM. So let's celebrate this final 11:00 AM service together before we make the SHIFT!

Bring your family. Invite your friends, coworkers, and neighbors. Come ready to worship, hear God's Word, and celebrate what God has done as we prepare for where He's taking us next.

One last time at 11AM. Let's make it count!

Pastor Eric

Harvest Kids: Jesus Makes Stories Come to Life

9/6 Lesson: Jesus Taught in Parables

Not everyone who hears about Jesus believes in Him. Some people don’t understand the gospel, and some people care more about the things of this world than they do God’s kingdom. But people who believe in Jesus and follow Him will grow to be like Him and will share His good news so others can believe too.

Memory Verse: "The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the word of our God remains forever" - Isaiah 40:8

Generosity: North Texas Giving Day is Here!

North Texas Giving Day is an annual opportunity for people across North Texas to come together and support local nonprofits and organizations making a difference in their communities. Our giving window is open now through September 17, and we’re excited to participate!

One of the greatest benefits for us is stewardship. Giving through North Texas Giving Day allows us to bypass the normal payment-processing fees associated with our regular online giving. As a church, those fees currently cost us approximately $800 every month. During this giving period, that means more of every dollar given can go directly toward ministry and making an impact. For those who currently choose to cover processing fees when giving online, it also provides you an opportunity to save on those additional costs.

But North Texas Giving Day is about more than how we give, it’s also an opportunity to expand our reach. Thousands of people participate throughout North Texas, giving us greater exposure to people who may not know who we are or the impact God is allowing us to make.

Here’s how you can participate:

  • Give through our North Texas Giving Day website between now and September 17.
  • Repost and share our social media content.
  • Put a Harvest North Texas Giving Day sign in your yard.
  • Tell your friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers to help us get the word out!

Whether you’re giving or sharing, every act of participation helps. Let’s use this opportunity to be good stewards, broaden our reach, and continue making a difference in our community for the Kingdom!

Women's Bible Study: Ephesians

A Study of Faith and Practice Starting Tomorrow!

Join us as we journey through the book of Ephesians and discover the incredible riches of God's grace, our identity in Christ, and how to live out our faith with confidence and purpose.

Together we'll grow deeper in God's Word, build authentic friendships, and encourage one another as we pursue Jesus. Whether you're new to Bible study or have been studying Scripture for years, this study is for you.

On the weeks we don't meet, we encourage everyone to gather with their Cluster or small group of women to discuss the homework, pray together, and share what God is teaching them.

Harvest Ministries October 24, 2026 We Need a Fresh Wind Hey Reader, I've been praying about this Sunday, and I believe God wants to do something special in our church family! We're continuing The Road to Promise through Exodus with a message called "There's Something in the Water" from Exodus 15:22-27. Isn't it amazing how quickly we can forget what God has done when life doesn't go the way we expected? One moment, we're celebrating His goodness, and the next, we're questioning His...

Harvest Ministries October 17, 2026 Why We Sing! Hey Reader, Tomorrow is going to be special and I can't wait to worship with you at our outdoor Worship on the Lawn service! We're continuing The Road to Promise series through Exodus with a message called "A Song Worth Singing" from Exodus 15:1-18. After God miraculously delivered the Israelites through the Red Sea, Moses and the people responded the only way they knew how, which was with a song of praise! But their worship wasn't simply about...

Harvest Ministries September 26, 2026 The Time is Now! Hey Reader, Currently, I'm across the globe along with our mission team as we serve in Uganda, but I want you to know that my heart is with my Harvest family back home! As we continue The Road to Promise, Pastor Brandon will be bringing the Word from Exodus 12:31-51 with a message called “Prepare to Go.” After everything Israel experienced in Egypt, the moment finally came when God said it was time to move. The promise they had been...
